If you have diarrhea , a decoction of calisaya leaves and common lady’s mantle shoots (Alchemilla vulgaris) in wine will help. Prepare the decoction from 30 g of calisaya and 30 g of common lady’s mantle. Boil them in 1 l of wine. Drink 3-5 wine glasses per day. Home Treatment For Diarrhea
Persistent and long diarrhea can be stopped with a wine decoction of equal quantities of calisaya, common lady’s mantle, mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) and marshmallow roots. The herbal mixture is 30 g to 1 l of wine. Drink half a cup of the hot decoction on empty stomach and divide the remaining quantity into 4 doses; drink a warm dose 1 hour after meals.
If you have persistent diarrhea , you can use the following herbal mixture boiled in half a litre of wine: 5 g of mugwort, 5 g of calisaya, 5 g of field horsetail (Equisetum arvense), 5 g of garden angelica roots (Angelica archangelica), 5 g of St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum), 5 g of cornflower (Centaurea Montana), 2 g of mint and 2 g of valerian roots. Do not boil mint and valerian, add them after you remove the pot from the fire. Leave for half an hour. Drink 2-4 table spoonfuls of the wine decoction in a cup of boiling water. Drink three cups per day.
Long diarrhea is treated with tea from St John’s wort, calisaya and yarrow (Achillea millefolium) in equal quantities. The proportion is 1 table spoonful of the mixture to 1 cup of boiling water. Drink the tea hot on empty stomach.
Crush to powder lesser butterfly-orchid (Platanthera bifolia). Take 1 table spoonful of the powder and put it in 2 table spoonfuls of cold boiled water, then pour over two-thirds of a cup of boiling water. Add 3 table spoonfuls of calisaya juice and put the mixture in a closed bottle or a jar and shake it until you get a homogenous thick colourless slimy mass. Drink it in the morning on empty stomach.
Diarrhea can be stopped by an infusion of lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis). Take 40 g of the herb for 1 l of water and mix it with 5 table spoonfuls of calisaya juice.
Another effective infusion is from a herbal mixture of 40 g of lungwort, 1 table spoonful of linseed, 1 table spoonful of commfry roots (Symphytum officinale) and 100 g of rosehip fruits for 1 l of water. Filter the infusion and add 7 table spoonfuls of calisaya juice. Drink 1 cup in the morning on empty stomach, and divide the remaining quantity into 4 doses and take them during the day.
