Treatment For Kindey Stones
Stones in the kidneys are formed when you have a disorder in the metabolism or they can be due to a change in the chemical composition of blood. Deposited salts crystallise and then form stones of different size. Traditional medicine offers various effective remedies to treat stones in the kidneys, however, before starting the procedures you should consult a doctor. Calisaya (Callisia Fragrans) preparations give good result in the treatment of stones in the kidneys.
Make a compress from gauze wetted in hot calisaya decoction and keep it for 20 minutes in the place where the kidneys are. Make the procedure once a day for 10 days. If you have sharp pains (kidney colic) take a warm bath with infusion of calisaya added. Stay in the tub for 15 minutes. Before you have the bath, drink 1 table spoonful of the calisaya decoction; after the bath lie in bed and put on your belly a mash of fresh calisaya leaves wrapped in gauze. If you have very sharp pains, take calisaya juice with honey (one tea spoonful of juice to 100 g of honey). Take one tea spoonful every 2-3 hours.
Prepare an infusion of cranberry leaves and mix with a little calisaya decoction if you want to get rid of the stones in your kidneys. Take 1 table spoonfuls of cranberry leaves and pour over 2 cups of boiling water, leave for 2 hours, filter and add 3 table spoonfuls of calisaya decoction. Drink 2 table spoonfuls twice a day 1 hour before meals. Continue the procedure until you can throw out all your kidney stones. Every 10 days make a five-day break and continue again till you fully recover.
Mix 2 parts of bearberry leaves (Arctastophylos uva-ursi), 2 parts of calisaya leaves, 1 part of field horsetail (Equisetum arvense), 1 part of juniper blossoms (Juniperus), and 1 part of cranberry leaves. Take 1 table spoonful of this mixture and pour over 1 glass of cold water; boil for 3 minutes. Filter the decoction (1 cup) and drink 40 minutes before supper. Repeat the procedure for 10 days.
Mix 2 parts of calisaya leaves, 2 parts of nettle leaves, 1 part of yarrow (Achillea millefolium), 1 part of parsley roots, 1 part of rosehip fruits, and 1 part of tansy blossoms (Tanacetum vulgare). Take 1 table spoonful of the mixture and pour over a cup of boiling water; leave for 2 hours. Drink half a cup 3 times a day 40 minutes before meals when you have sharp pains.
