Prepare a herbal mixture of 1 part of calisaya leaves, 1 part of liquorice root, 1 part of three-lobe beggarticks shoots, 1 part of field horsetail (Equisetum arvense),  1 part of rosehip fruits, 1 part of yarrow blossoms (Achillea millefolium), 1 part of alder cones (Alnus), 1 part of dandelion (Taraxacum), and 1 part of burdock roots (Arctium). Pour over a cup of boiling water over 5 g of the mixture and boil on water bath for 15 minutes; leave for 45 minutes. Filter the ready decoction and drink 50 ml 3-4 times a day before meals.

For a complex treatment of bronchial asthma Vladimir Ogarkov from Siberia, who spent 20 years of his life to study calisaya and wrote a book about it, recommended together with the calisaya alcohol infusion, taken 3 times a day 1 hour before meals, to take calendula oil (Calendula officinalis), powder from treacle mustard (Erysimum diffusum), a mixture of lemon juice, eggshells, honey and garlic. He also recommended clay applications on the chest.

Prepare the calendula oil in the following way: fill a one-litre jar with dry calendula blossoms to the half, pour over vegetable oil heated to 40 degrees Centigrade (Celsius) and keep in a dark place for a month. Filter and drop 10 drops in the nostrils in the morning and in the evening; before going to bed drink one tea spoonful of the oil.

Make into powder the dry herb treacle mustard and take a pinch of it 3 times a day with a decoction, prepared from one tea spoonful of white dead-nettle seeds (Lamium album) and 1 table spoonful of common mallow seeds (Malva sylvestris) and 600 ml of boiling water; boil for15 minutes, leave for 2 hours and drink 100 ml a day 30 minutes before meals or 1 hour after meals.

Make clay applications every other day. Spread the clay on your chest. It should not be thicker than 1 cm and about 30 cm long and wide. Cover with wax paper and cover yourself with a blanket. Do not use the same clay again.
