European Natural Remedies For Anemia

Iron Deficiency Anemia

  1. vervain (Verbena officinalis) stems – 25 grams;
  2. shepherd`s-purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris) stems – 25 grams;
  3. dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) stems – 25 grams;
  4. chicory (Cichorium intybus) root – 25 grams;
  5. fumitory (Fumaria officinalis) stems – 25 grams;
  6. centaury (Eritraea centaurium) stems – 25 grams;
  7. walnut leaves – 25 grams;
  8. St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) stems – 25 grams;
  9. bloody cranesbill (Geranium sanguineum) root – 25 grams.

Boil 2 tablespoons of the herb mixture in half a litre of water for 5 minutes. Drink 120 ml before a meal 4 times a day. After a meal take a tablespoon of honey and nettle flour (nettle flour: mix 1 kg of honey with 200 grams of nettle flour). In addition, take the yolk of a fresh egg, mix it with a tablespoon of glucose or honey, and take it every morning on an empty stomach.

  1. lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) leaves – 50 grams;
  2. bogbean (Menyanthes trifoliata) leaves – 50 grams;
  3. yellow gentian (Gentiana lutea) root – 50 grams;
  4. nettle root – 50 grams;
  5. yarrow (Achillea millefolium) stems – 50 grams;
  6. centaury (Centaurium erythraea) stems – 50 grams;
  7. St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) stems – 40 grams.

Anemia after an infectious disease

Bloody cranesbill (Geranium sanguineum) root – 300 grams.

Boil two tablespoons of the herb in a litre of water for 10 minutes. Drink 150 ml before and after a meal 4 times a day. Take a tablespoon of honey and nettle flour after a meal 3 times a day (nettle flour: mix 1 kg of honey with 200 grams of nettle flour).

  4. lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) stems – 20 grams;
  5. St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) stems – 20 grams;
  6. marigold (Calendula officinalis) flowers – 20 grams;
  7. elecampane (Inula helenium) root – 20 grams;
  8. agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) stems – 25 grams.

Cover 2 tablespoons of the herb mixture with half a litre of boiling water and let it sit for 2 hours. Drink 120 ml before a meal 4 times a day. Take a tablespoon of honey and nettle flour after a meal (the way to prepare nettle flour is described in the recipe above).
