GASTRIC AND DUODENAL ULCERS

The disease is characterized by painful sores or ulcers in the lining of the stomach and the upper area of the small intestine – the duodenum. The main symptom with ulcers of the stomach (gastric ulcers) is sharp pain in the upper area of the stomach which appears 20-30 minutes after eating.
With duodenal ulcers the pains usually appear several hours after eating, most often during the night.
Other accompanying symptoms with these conditions are acids, nausea and vomiting. If you have symptoms suspicious of gastric or duodenal ulcers it is important to seek medical help and strictly adhere to the recommendations and the appointed diet. After consulting a specialist, you could also try a supplementary treatment with Basket plant leaves (Callisiafragrans), which according to traditional medicine practitioners could successfully heal such conditions.

The treatment is done with concoction, infusion or fresh juice from Basket plant leaves (Callisia fragrans). If, during your first day of treatment with this herbal remedy, there is a worsening of symptoms or overall exacerbation of the condition, it is better to cease treatment with this herb.

As an anti-inflammatory remedy for ulcers it is recommended to take a concoction from calendula (Calendula officinalis) and Basket plant (Callisiafragrans). To prepare the concoction take 1 tablespoon of calendula flowers and 1/4th of a Basket plant leaf. Pour 2 cups of boiling water and steep for 40 minutes. Take 1-2 tablespoons of the ready concoction, 3 times a day, 1 hour before meals. Use this treatment during more acute periods of the disease.

Prepare a concoction from 1 Basket plant leaf, about 20 cm long, and 3 cups of water. Boil for 7 minutes and then let soak for 24 hours. Take 50-70 ml of the concoction 3-4 times a day, 40 minutes prior to meals. The treatment with the Basket plant concoction could be combined with taking a mixture of the following: 1 tablespoonful of butter, thick cream and sugar, 1 egg. Mix well all ingredients, place in a glass jar and boil in a water bath, stirring energetically all the time.Divide the mixture in 3 parts and take 1 hour before meals, followed 30 minutes later by the Callisia concoction. The duration of the treatment is 1 month.
